Introduction to Personal Protective Equipment
We have recently added this new module to the CMDS e-learning library.
The purpose of this module is to give the reader an introductory understanding of common personal protective equipment that is used in the oil and gas industry.
Note: this module does not cover personal protective equipment that requires specialized training and assurance of competency, including arc welding, electrical arc flash, self-contained breathing apparatus and fall arrest harness.
At the conclusion of this module you will be able to discuss and identify common personal protective equipment that is used in the oil and gas industry. Protective equipment that is used for the head, eyes, hearing, respiratory, hands and feet will be discussed.
Each module has a 10 question quiz that will test the readers understanding of the topics covered. The quizzes are made up of multiple choice and True/False questions. A 90% or higher is required to receive a passing grade.
The module can be found in the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Category.
